Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024 Schedule
During the tourism sector deployment conference in Da Nang for the year 2024, Ms. Pham Tu Cau, Vice Chairwoman and General Director of Sun Group in the Central Region, announced that the company will continue to collaborate with the city in bringing the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) to the audience. She expressed the hope that DIFF 2024 will not only create a vibrant tourism season but also solidify the strong brand of Da Nang as the "fireworks city" in the regional context.
According to the plan, DIFF 2024 will feature 5 nights of performances, with the opening night on June 8, followed by subsequent shows on June 15, 22, 29, and the grand finale on July 13. Participating teams include Vietnam, France, Italy, the United States, Germany, and Poland.
During the conference, businesses also proposed that Da Nang should develop a long-term investment strategy for DIFF, with high-quality infrastructure such as a prominent square or stage and a large-scale fireworks spectator stand. This is aimed at enhancing the position of DIFF and transforming Da Nang into a "new global fireworks destination."
In 2023, DIFF attracted over 942,000 visitors, marking an almost 30% increase compared to DIFF 2019. Specifically, the total number of guests accommodated by lodging facilities during the 5 peak days of DIFF 2023 reached almost 322,000. The number of flights to Da Nang during this period peaked at 150 flights per day, 1.5 times the daily average.
DIFF has not only become a brand-enhancing event attracting tourists but also a strong driving force for the robust development of the city's tourism industry.
